I have a 1991 trail boss 250 4x4, and the front right tire makes a banging noise once in a while when going off rocks or sometimes over stuff, so do i need new shocks? and if so what kind are good that they make for a 91 that are a lot smoother then the stock ones?

That could also be your CV joint making that banging noise. That is what mine did when it was going out. HSP has Kimplex and Fox struts that are a great improvment over stock
