Dyno numbers compared from different dynos at different locations mean nothing. Weather, tires, different dyno machine, way too many factors! There is no way to compare.

I agree. Also, you can't discount the fact that stock knobbie tires will dyno way lower than slicks. The seemed to be agreed upon stock RWHP numbers that I have heard is about 42 hp, but this is with slicks I am sure. JSYI had his dynoed at 41-something hp with stock tires. Without all his mods, it probably would have been much closer to 32-33. Also remember a dyno does nothing for you for just getting a reading on hp once. It is only a valuable tool when you do before and after runs, and see what your mods have gained you.

I don't know for sure, but I would guess closer to 48-50 hp. It would be interesting to try it out just to see....let us know if you go ahead and do it...

Numbers are just speculation on paper....Take it to the track and show 'em what the predator can do in real life...not paper!!

I have seen 38-39 stock and 40-41 piped. I am sure if more dyno time and work on the sarb/airbox you will see a peak around 43-44. Those are very good numbers by the way. A few years back some companies were posting 50hp piped raptors and 63 for basic 686. Those numbers do not exist. We do all our dyno runs on a dyno jet dyno. A stock raptor runs around 35-37 and as high as 44-45 with pipe/carb tuning. Once you get one of these quads to 50 real hp you are doing good, 55 is great and very, very few i have seen can hit or break 60. Some aftermarket shops post high numbers. The dyno is just a tool and you can guage your progress with it, but to compare a quad in florida with one that was dynoed in california will be hard to do. There does not seem to be any real standard in dynoes.
