the ban top end is very fast but its excel. isnt.thats how i beat it.it was about 200ft. the ban didnt have a swing arm extenion either. a polaris that is geared just right and jetted can excel hardcore.

 

its engine was also biult in 1999.

of course people who dont own polaris are going to talk crap about them, just because they dont have a rep of being the fastest quads, but have a rep of being the heaviest quad with an auto trans. dont get me wrong i love a jap quad, i ride my freinds banshee with fmf fatty pipes, knk jett kit, and bored heads, its definetly a very fast bike. and i like it cause its light and fast. but it cant cut it in the trails like my trailblazer can, over logs, mud, and it definetly cant rip down brush and trees like a trailblazer can. but the banshee in a race with a trailblazer, the banshee will really kill it. the other day i rode with a big bear 400 4x4 and a z400 the big bear got stuck over stuff and in stuff my trailblazer got right over or through.and the z400 coudlnt do anything so the guy left. jap sport quads really suck in the trails, but are good on the dunes and on the track. when jap bike owners try to comapare jap quads with polaris they need to know what there talking about, there camparing apples and oranges. but if i were to want speed for racing or just for speed i would go with a jap bike.

 

after having my post edited......i will just say that i do not agree with predatorRacin17's original post.

 

listen it wasnt 5k ok.butt gearing and tuning have a lot to do with it.it was more like 2.k in the whole thing but whatever my point is is peps who think that predators are week have probs.iv riden everything and i dont think everything compares.sorrry for the mess
