Tim1, I've been out of town and just read your mail. On the subject of suzuki KQ 300 having 4wd lock. Yes, it does do the job in most cases. Didn't know the QuadMaster 500 comes without it. I find, if I'm going to use the four wheel lock, I have to use it starting out. In other words, don't wait to get in trouble and then try to lock and get out. If I'm going in the mud, up the hill or over some intimidating logs, I'd better be in 4wd lock rite now! But that's not often. Why do you think Suzuki would sale a 500 4 x 4 without the lock feature? I really don't get it!
