Default Tuning help 02 Scrambler w/HSP kit

I have a 02 Scrambler 400, just had the HSP kit installed (gen II pipe, K&N, hypershift clutch kit). I have notices that as I open the throttle up it bogs down (especially when going up a hill from a stand still). Can any of the mechanical minds in here offer some insight?

Thanks

Has the jetting been addressed? I would look to either that or if it happens right when you hit the throttle maybe a primary spring change. I would assume everythiing was installed from the HSP kit.

What is the best way to access the carb for jetting. It's pretty hard to get to from the side.

you have to take the front plastic off and the tank this is a bitch but can be done with out removing the handlebars or the lights... there are 2 rivets on the front of your plastic that can be drilled out and reinstalled with bolts, makes the removal of front plastic alot easier

Well it sounds too me like your secondary was not wound properley remember it has to be a 1/3 of a turn.
If you did that then I would guess the carb too

Unless I'm too Predatorized, you don't have to take the front plastic off to access the carb. You can loosen the four screws (two on each side) that hold the front and rear plastic together. Work in from the side to loosen the clamp on the carb inlet. Remove the screws holding the airbox to the frame, then kinda fish it off. A K&N RU-1760 with a water resistant Outerware is a great replacement...adjust jetting accordingly though.

DON'T rev that motor anymore! IF jetting wasn't re-done with the HSP kit,
you need a 270 main jet at minimum (stock carb),richen the needle 1-2 clip.
it is easy as telling that if you're engine was lean, the damage are done already.
but if the engine is running with just bog (no lack of power) it is too rich...
