my sister has a trailboss 250 and she wants to know if she could beat a lakota sport in a short and long drag. I figure she will lose a short drag but I think she might have a shot at a long one. I think the tb has a better top speed. I would be grateful for opinions. thanx

 

The 250 should win for the fact that it is a 2 stroke and the older 250's were faster than the new ones. Lakotas are a good all around quad but not fast at all.

This is just from my experience the other day....... I ride a 01 Lakota that is piped only and i was riding with 4 others, 2 400ex's 1 kfx400 and my other buddy had a stock 98 trailblazer. The blazer was just as fast as me in the trails and a bit better when the going got a bit rough but when it came to a half mile stretch of pavement and we all opened up the kfx was ahead followed by the 2 400ex's and the Lakota was about 100yards ahead of the Blazer. I was shocked myself at this!!! I hope this info helps, and as for all around i think the Blazer and the lakota are both great bargins.
