Removing plastic scratches?
#1
Anyone have any ideas or experience in how to remove scratches in Polaris plastic? The only thing I can think of is possibly running a torch over some of the scratches lightly but not sure if it would work. Any secrets out there? Thanks.

Nothing much you can do about the deep ones.
The lighter scratches come out with wet sand paper. Lightly start out with 300 grit, then 600, then 800. When you’ve sanded the scratched spot to a uniform color and texture use a power buffer and wool pad to finish polishing to a shine. Nothing will look like new plastic except new plastic, but this can greatly improve scratched areas.
