Default New Scrambler

I was at my local dealership the other day and I was talking to a sales rep who said they have a 2002 Polaris Scrambler 500 4x4 as a holdover. They will sell the quad for $5000. I was wondering if this was a good price and is it worth buying a few model years old brand new quad. I realize that it is about $1000 off the original price, but will I get screwed when I attempt to sell it and do these quads hold their value?

I personally wouldn't be too worried about the year .Your warrenty is still good . You will have a reciept to show when you bought it . I bought a new left over 2001 last Oct for about a thousand less than the new ones it rides just as good as if it would have been a 2002 or 2003 .You can spend that extra money on other things. As for the 500 4x4 its a great quad.
