help installing capacitor!!

Default help installing capacitor!!

I removed my starter and battery. so i bought a capacitor from radio shack which is similar to the one used in the w/b battery eliminator kit. how exactly do i wire this thing up? any help would be appreciated

Hook it up just like you were installing the battery. "+" to red, and "-" for ground. I would be careful, I've heard of others trying to shortcut that, and it's just as easy to use the W/B kit. Good luck. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

there is no + or - on the capacitor only arrows pointing to one side. any ideas?

The arrow indicates flow direction. The flow of electrons is from negative to positive. So the side with the tip of the arrow is positive.
