I got a clutch spring, exhaust,Uni or Twin Air filter & jet(wrong one though) all for $325 at Rick Ritter Racing. It helped our '02 325 trailboss BIG TIME!Check them out they may have one for your 330.We bought our trailboss for about the same situation you are in,beginning riders but our 13 yr old has put ours thru immortal you-know-what & I haven't touched it other than oil changes & chain tightenings.I would recommend it to anyone! No it's not a racer but it wasn't designed to be & it can keep up on the trails, especially w/h RCR's kit.Scott
p.s. no vibration here either!

I bought a speed kit from HSP and it made quite a difference in my quad. It includes a new pipe and silencer, shift kit and K & N filter, but no jets, you need to rejet to get the most out of the kit. I have a 140 jet in mine as apposed to the 122.5 that comes in it. They also don't bother to mention that you need to preload your secondary spring when you install it, so make sure you do this as I rode mine for quite some time before finding out that you need to do this, and in makes a night and day difference.

to get back on the subject at hand...
My wifes first quad was a 2000 Trail Boss. It was awesome. Great price, super reliable, and it was good as a starter machine. She learned how to ride on it, it was easy and very forgiving. The 325 motor it had was sweet, and would carry both of us with no problem. It would do about 40 mph, but we are trail riders, not racers, so most of our riding is under 20 mph anyway. The suspension is great and the nice wide plush seat is great too. I cant say enough good about it. We put a small winch on the front to make up for not having 4wd and had a blast with it. Once she got real good at riding, she went anywhere the rest of us went. I traded it in for a 700 and gave her my Scram 500, which she took to right away. I was worried about her having that much more power, but she could ride the wheels off it. Then she decided she wanted to be able to hang with me in the mud, so she got a 03 500HO. Now theres a woman who can ride! Anyway, the Boss is a great starter bike and 4 stroke is the way to go. Ours was a great machine and we'd still have it if the wife hadnt decided she wanted a ride like mine. She handles my 700 like a pro, too. But if she had started out on a big machine, who knows.
