I think you should get some ITP T-9 aluminnum rims with the itp mudlites. My friend has them on his 400 scrammy and it looks pretty sweet,I think I am going to get some t-9 rims and put mudlites on the back and then some holeshots on the front for my TB.

Why do you want to drop the rear tire size? More torque? Just change the sproket. You will want ot keep the tire size for suspesion and steering geometry and so forth. I have a 02 500 Scrambler and just took mine out with the douglas .190 and mudlites (stock sizes) and they are AWESOME. Worth every penny!

i wanna drop tire size for more tourqe but more importantly i want the machine to be lower so it will handle better,im sick of doing donuts and being pretty much thrown off the machine.
smaller tires will give it less body roll..

Smaller tires is ONE way of giving it less body roll. Another is better suspension (or tighter), more power to break the tires loose harder (and thus less tire grabbing enforced 'roll') and yet another is better tires, which the mudlites are much stiffer.
Let us know what you decide and how it works for you.

If you are still running the stock tires on your machine, and upgrade to a 6 ply, it will help with the body roll. Also, you may want to check the rear shock and see if it is still at the softest setting. A lot of times, the factory setting is softest. When I had my Scrambler, I put Holeshot xct's, mounted on Douglas 190 rims. An excellent combo. Although, you may want to look into the ATR's. Also, a gearing change to a lower gear, will help in snapping that machine around.
Has anyone here tried a gearing change on the Scrambler? Does it affect your four wheel drive? Or is that only a concern if you make the front and rear tires the same?
