Who would win in like a drag race or a mud run or a top speed etc.?I am posting this because in a topic that is on the fourm called 03 trailboss 330 areing saying a trailboss could beat a trailblazer I dont think that is not all true.Any thoughts at all

 

yes the trailblazer is a cheaper model but its a two storke and the boss is a four (thats if its a 325 or 30) old ones are 2 strokes and 250s. from what your saying the trailblazer would win. i had a 95 boss and i ruled a 325 4s @ss...

 

I strongly disagree. The 03 330 boss has (compared to the Trailblazer) a lot more torque and good mid-high end.

In the mud- there is no contest
On rocky/ rough trails it well outdoes the Trailblazer
On the hills, eats the Trailblazer
Top end speed is rated as slightly higher than the Trailblazer.

I cant speak for other years of the Trailboss, but the 03 is a pretty good beast for the price. My buddy's wife has the 03 trailblazer 250 and I personally beleive it is a dog. The stock Trailblazer 250 is a joke.

This is not to say the Trailblazer cant be made fast by mods, but so can the Trailboss 330.

 

I hope the new 330 is better than the 325. Had a friend who was service manager at a dealer a few years ago and he said the 325 was the biggest piece of crap Polaris ever made. He said it shook like a Harley and wasn't as fast as the 250.

 

I would have to agree with USMCQuader if they are both stock the boss would kill the blazer in the mud and it would be close in the drag but the boss would win.The trail blazer has nothing on the trail boss.

They are both good reliable quads and the 250 has way more mods. For the 250 being a 2 stroke it has more power off the line than the 330. The 330 has a little more top speed and yes it has more torque because it is a 4 stroke but the 2 stroke is quicker and revs higher. I have never seen a 325 or a 330 beat a 250. And for mods a moded 330 will never keep up with a moded 250. It is just impossable. There is not much you can do to a 330. As of yet!

 

Are we inthe same conversation? A stock 250 is no match for a stock 330. I have ridden both extensively and seen them 'race' and observed real life in every other environment. The 03 330 eats it over every item. Stock, There is no way a Trailblazer 250 takes a 330 off the line. 250's, although ultimately capable of more mods DO NOT have low end, especially the heavy Trailblazer. It is a true dog off the line.

As I can see from your profile, you have one very nice 250. Enjoy it, but know the truth that stock versus stock, the Tralblazer simply cant hack it, ESPECIALLY in any kind of rough or hilly terain.
