Polaris or Yamaha?

Thats my scram riding a wheelie in my icon. Yes, a 600lb polaris auto can wheelie Mud is no problem. If you go through DEEP water or hit it really fast, you may get the belt wet. But, just put it in neutral and rev the engine and it will dry the belt. You can jump all you want. Just get a chain tensionor and stiffen the rear shock and no worries. I too would suggest getting the newest you can. In 2001 they upgraded the brake system and added stainless steel lines. In late 01 and 02 they upgraded the tie rod ends and put the aluminum lower steering support bearing in. In 03 they put a better clutch cover on. So, try and get at least an 01

The 97 scrams did not have concentric drive, so they were more pront to chain breakage. The newer ones are less likely to break a chain, not saying that it doesn't happen. But if you plan on doing a lot of jumping then you need to get a chain tensionor.
I too am excited to see what Polaris does for the scrambler to compete with the V Force. I am hoping for a scrambler 700 twin, bored out to 750cc. With 4wd of corse. Double wishbone front suspension with 11" of travel and Works shocks all around. It also has to come standard with the Comet primary clutch and TEAM secondary. And of course, DUEL EXHAUST!!! Now THAT would be my perfect quad!

i'm confused. i figure we have 'sport' and 'ute.'
now we have 'sport ute?' a sport is a rear drive with a lot of scoot. a ute is a big 4X4 with automatic, a winch, and all that stuff. I was hoping we could keep them seperate breeds for seperate jobs.
thats like 'sportsedan' 'SUV' 'SAV' 'SEV' these are all cars. they do market well, but dont actually work as a 4x4 OR a sedan. amazing.
imagine if you marketing a sherman tank. it would start out as a ute right? but then after a couple years, maybe if you add superchargers and a flashy paint job, you've got a 'sport ute' ???? HAHAHA
i'll bet you canadians are real keen living next door to these idiots! LOL!
