Has any one rode one of these what do you think? I am really thinking of buying one but i think i might be better off getting a used scrambler 400 what do you think i should do? good points versus bad

They are practicly the same thing. There were minor changes made over the years to the brakes, steering and clutch housing, but other than that they are the same. The scrambler was available in 4wd until 2002 so if you want 4wd then a used scrammy is the way to go. The TB400 is only 2wd, but it does comes with sportier tires from the factory.

The only Polaris with duel a-arms is the predator. The scrambler, sport, and trailblazers all use essentially the same frame and for the most part the same componets, with the exception of different engines, 4wd on some, and the 250 trailblazer doesn't have a radiator. The plastic is interchangeable between all of them as well. The sport, scrambler 400, and trailblazer 400 are basicaly the same quad. The sport was the 2wd version of the scrambler 400 up until 99. Then in 2000 they made the scrambler 400 available as a 2wd and 4wd. Then in 2003, they dropped the scrambler 400 4x4 and made it only as the 2wd version, which they renamed the trailblazer 400 to go along with the trailblazer 250. They all utilize the same same engine, clutch, frame, suspension and so on. With the exception of a few upgrades in the later model. They were all great quads and cheap and east to mod. These machines are capable of making over 85 horsepower with the right money but can be made real fast for arounf $330.

there is a few difference's between the 03 trailblazer and the 02 scrambler 400.the wheelbase on the trailblazer is48 inch's and the scrambler is 49.75,and the scrambler is a inch wider.the trailblazer weighs 499 where as the scrambler is 481..those are pretty much the only difference
