They are as reliable as anything on the market. I had two of them.
One was a 99 and the other was a 00. I still have the 99 and only
fouled the plug once. I traded the 00 in for a 97 YZ 125 but I never
had any problems with it either. Good quad and can be modified
to be very fast. So if you want something that you can grow with
its a great quad. My kids changed and turned to dirt bikes but I still
have the 99 with just about all the race mods on it that you can buy.

I have an 02 trailblazer. personally i think for an experienced rider it is no fun. its heavy with incredibly slow take of with very lil torque in the bottom end. i'm sellin mine for a 300ex or somethin like that. if i were u i would go with the blaster. yr on the polaris forum so its not really fair. check on the yamaha forum also so u get both sides. but the tb is heavy and when all yr friends are ridin around doin wheelies and crap and yr standin on the back tryin to haul it up its no fun. especially if yr small framed like me. check some other forums before make yr decision but i would go with the blaster. its been out there for a long time and has all the kinks worked out. much funner to ride. 3 of my friends have one and they love em. hope i was a help......

June 20, 7:00pm, torential thunder storm with downpour, I was riding trail back to trailer my cousin was behind me on his recon, when we got to a slight grade in the trail a small tree was laying across it, so I slowed down and did a wheelie over it, at that time the whole bike went to the right about 2 feet, well there was a very steep hill on that side of the trail, before I knew it only the right rear wheel was on the trail with the rest of the bike in the air above the hill, so I bailed and landed on my shoulder 20 feet away, still not healed enough to ride yet.

Still does, I did some nerve damage to my arm, I thought the wife was gonna be pissed but not at all, after I'm healed up I'll get to take my son's 2004 ATP for a spin. (he is only 12, lives with the ex)
