My 01 TB Oil light is coming on and the thumb throttle is getting stiff, is it related? Should I maybe take the pump off and clean it? How do I know it is injecting oil?

If the oil light comes on that means it needs oil so check it,cap is on the front of the plastic.My thottle cable on my 300 xpress did that too.I just took the cap off of the thottle control and sprayed some wd-40 down the cable and work the thumb thottle thottle a couple of times and came loose.

 

Thanks, but the oil level is full (I'm not that challenged) I was concerned that dirt has worked in somehow and caused the pump to malfunction, which would explain the stiff throttle, the cable seems to be fine, no binding and min friction.
