I have the HPD Powermaxx exhaust and Aggressive clutch kit and really like them. It will wheelie a lot easier and the pipe adds more low and mid range power. Plus the HPD exhaust is nickel plated with an aluminum silencer, where as the Hot Seat pipe is just black paint. The Hot Seat kit is what, $550?? The HPD exhaust is $305, the clutch kit is $155. Thats $460 so far. Get a K&N filter for $35 with an Outerwears for $10 from Rocky MT ATV. That is a total of $505 compared to Hot Seats $550. So, for $45 less, you get a better performing exhaust that looks a lot better too. Just my $.02

The spring and weights for the primary are real straight forward and simple to install. The secondary clutch is a little more difficult. You need a good set of snap ring pliers and a friend to help hold the clutch. I HAT SNAP RINGS and for some reason had the hardest time with it. SO, it took the clutch to the dealer and had them install the new spring and helix for $15. I also had them install HPD Supeduty buttons, cuz I needed new buttons in the clutch anyway, and the HPD superduty buttons are aluminum rather than the stock plastic ones. Make sure you wind the secondary clutch correctly if you do it yourself. Otherwise it won't perform well. The new exhaust also comes with a new main jet. I have the Aggressive clutch kit PART # ATVCK5PA . You don't really want the race type on unless all you really do is race and dune. Cuz for any trail riding, the clutch engagement will be too high. My clutch engages around 2000 RPM or so. I need a tach to find out for sure, but it makes it pull a lot harder and wheelie better. You can also order the HPD parts from Rick Ritter at RCR. He is an authorized dealer for HPD, as well as his own products. That is where I got mine. His customer service is second to none and he is more than happy to give you his advice. He won't steer you wrong. Also, his shipping is dirt cheap. I paid $9 for shipping on my exhaust and clutch kit. If you run into any trouble don't hesitate to ask.

Oh, also, when you go to reinstall the secondary clutch, put the tranny in gear , it will keep the shaft from rotating so you can line up the splines. It took me about 2 hours of pushing and cussing to figure that out. Also, the secondary clutch should come off with a good tug, You shouldn't need a puller, but you may need one if it is rusted on. When you reinstall it, put a LIGHT film of grease on the shaft (I know that sounds dirty). That will make it easier to remove it later on if you need to.
