i have a 1999 polaris trail blazer all stock excpet for i got a k&n filter and a 12 tooth front sproket. I need the thing to have a higher top speed would anyone know a cheap way of doing it???? and how much faster i will go?? and how much it will cost???

 

The only way to go faster is more horsepower. There are not too expensive ways to get there, but nothing you could call "cheap".

 

for 160 bucks you can bore your machine over at aaen performance. send your head in and the will port and polish it and give you a .020 piston. considering their pipe is 219 dollars, this is the way to go. and after that bump it up to a .040 over piston. or just send your head in and get it shved and port and polished for like 85 bucks.

 

Shave some weight off. Take off the floor board, oil injection, ect. Anything not neccessary. Also, I heard that race cutting your plastic gives you a few more MPF

 

This depends too guys on if his machine is able to rev out as stock .. if it is able to rev out, then changing sprockets can get him more speed. And that's a cheap speed mod. But it will only work if he's able to rev out .. if he can't top out with stock gearing then changing sprockets will only make it worse.

 

if i get it bored do u know how much top speed i will gain??? and what sprokets sizes should i get?? i have 12 on the front and 36 on the back and yes i do rev out and how many moe mph will i gain??

 

on two strokes you have to send the cylinder to get ported and when you shave the head you get more low end tourqe

 

I was thinkin of doin this. Does it make a noticable difference?
