What is the difference between these two models?
I looked at their website and only saw the turning radus was shorter in the SP 500 RSA model.

Thanks

The RSA is the Remington Special Edition and has the same turning radius as the Sportsman. Probably a misprint on the web site.

The RSE has the camo design, rack extenders and both bumpers. Oh, and maybe different tire design.

I spent quite a bit of time looking at both of these models recently. There are not too many differences for the extra $800 bucks you pay for the RSE (not RSA!).

The RSE is a green SP500 that has:

1. The camo cloth applied to the green plastic
2. The Polaris front and rear bumpers
3. The front rack extender
4. 33lbs heavier due to the above additions

That is it. The previous poster is correct, the turning radius is identical, must be a misprint. The tires are the same ones used on the standard SP 500. The SP335 uses different tires.

The camo finish is not camo coloured plastic. It is green plastic that has had camo cloth "permanently" bonded to the surface. A matt finish clearcoat is then applied over the camo cloth. The undersides of the fenders are then sprayed to hide the green color a bit. The finish will, and does, chip and flake off. The permanent bond is not perfect (that was my reason for not buying the RSE). The new Ducks Unlimited special edition finish is done in the same way.

ChickenMan (in yellow),

That is possible. I ordered a 2000 RSE at Christmas that just arrived in April. It had the flaking problem right there on the showroom floor. Passed the light fingernail test in the middle of the panels but not near the edges. Floodrunner has one, and has commented a few times on the chipping issue (in reposnse to others posts). He replaced a couple of panels when his machine was new (on Polaris). He has now covered his rear fenders (the most vulnerable) with camo cloth tape that he intends to remove at a later date. The whole thing made me nervous so I opted to keep my green '98.
