Wondering which tires people would recommend for a 500 scrambler. I got 22x11x10 now and need more ground clearance. I also need 6-ply tires becasue there are a lot of rocks where I ride. I would like to go as big as possible without losing any performance. Anyone have a big tire kit on their Scramblers. Anything will help.

 

I have the Titan 489X/T and really like them. Plus they are 6-ply. If I wer you, I wouldnt go over 25". Just make sure you keep the 1" size difference between the front and back. But, no matter what you do, you are going to lose performance if you go bigger. A clutch kit will definately help though. A pipe and air box mod will help even more

 

I run the mudlites and love them.

 

now when you say an airbox mod, do u just mean a new air filter or something else?

 

I meanthe HPD air box mod. It comes with a new air scoop and parts to recalibrate your carb. They claim 2hp. I haven't had a chance to test it out though, A K&N will always help too
