Default mods for 97 scrambler 500 4x4

i no that none of the major polaris performance parts makes mods for the 97 becuz off the non h.o., so does neone else no of ne other brands that mite mak some....thanxs

They make a nice slip-on for polaris atv's I have a 97 too and bought one and I saw a big diff in low and mid power.I didnt mess with jets.I went to rockymoutain and got a k&n filter also for it.There cheapest!If u want any other ideas just email me

would it be a bad idea 2 put a pipe for a newer H.O. on a 97 ....i no its a stup ?, but just askin..... thanks

It MIGHT not bolt up correctly (if they changed the mounting points at all) The pipe won't be matched to the specifics of the engine (ie. cam piston, ect). But, it might work. I dunno
