I have had a little worm problem with my computer. I lost everything. Been a bad time to get back online. Word of advice ( back up your computers. save everything ) Dont be stupid like I was and have never backed it up.

By any chance, was the name of the worm or virus named JEETO or was it the new one going around that affects just NT type operating sytems like Windows XP? I got that JEETO one on mine and even though Norton Anti Virus found it when I first got it and McAfee didn't , it even attacked Norton! I had to wipe out all of my hard drives and start over. I'm with you. BACK up anything you don't or can't afford to lose! I think the XP virus or worm is suppose to kick in to full swing tomorrow on the 16th if you don't already have the patch from Microsoft.

 

They are calling it msblast or lovsan worm. And yes they are predicting it is going to hit again today (saterday). The reason I am posting this on the day they say not to use your computer is that I have nothing to loose anymore. So if it hits me again I dont care. This was a good leason for me for the future. The sad thing is that the person or people that create these worms are doing it for no $ reasons. They are just a$$es.
