clutch spring acting weird
#1
When i got my green primary clutch spring for my trailboss it took a pretty high rpm for the belt to engage and i could pull wheelies all day long without even sittin back far on the seat or shiftin my weight! Now after after a few weeks its startin to wear out or break in and is closer to how the stock spring was. Weird thing is, the other day it was doing wheelies like it used to when the spring was first put on but today I really had to work to get the front wheels in the air. Whats goin on, anyone else have this happen to them?

The problem with just changing the spring is that you get more belt slippage. This also wears the belt quicker. A clutch kit would be best. A kit will give you much better performance with less belt slippage than even the stock kit. So less slippage means longer belt life. Also going with a better belt would be good. The HPD kevlar belt grabs like crazy and if the clutch kit is tuned right you wont get any wear on your clutches.
