Well, to be different and oppose all the negative posts: Today I used my SP 400 to pull a parade float approximately 4 miles. I pulled a 12 Ft trailer with wood decking (Heavy) with five adults. The thing worked great! After the parade I pulled the trailer back to the beginning with a few more folks. I used LOW the entire time and I have ~42 Hours on the bike. It was great, I was worried I'd overload it's 1225 towing capacity! I hope not. It's still running great!

Cool. I wouldn't worry too much. The towing capacity is based on the machines braking capability as well as its ability to pull a load. If burning a belt is what you are worried about, as long as the machine is moving when you are giving throttle, you are most likely not burning up the belt.

It's great to see some positive posts around here! Now you gotta get some pics of your ride posted!
