which color headlight wire is the low and high beam?

im not sure which color is which,but im sure someone on here will know..you can always put a test light to the wires that will tell ya..

There is a schematic in the back of your owners manual if you dont have that I really recomend you by a SERVICE MANUAL you cant own a Polaris without one.

I dont have a service manual does anyone know what color the low beam is?

so the yellow and brown wires are high beam? i thought the brown was the ground

dude u really dont understand how electricity works do you brown apparently is ground, one of the other wires , the one with the higher voltage would be high beam; brown is also ground on low beam side ..the lower voltage side...do you own a multimeter?

test light probally not acuurat enuff to tell high from low it would light up on both sides with very little difference in brightness

Your hi and lo are on seperate circuts

yea and they share a common ground one ground for hi and lo, 2 hot wires(1 hi 1 lo) with varying voltages
