Default Hey Predator owners i Need help !!!

Hey fellow predator owner i did something really dumb i broke the one out of the three bolts that hold the aluminum cover that holds the oil filter in it was the longest one. One of them i fill so dumb why did i do it things. Well i guess all you can do is laugh now. Right know we have got it kinda fixed i would just like to hear some other oppinions on how to fix it THanks yall

You're human like the rest of us. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Craftsman has a variety of easy-out type extractors....if things are too deep and complicated, then a machine shop might be in order. Otherwise the risking further damage could really ruin the day.

if easy out dosent work try left handed drill bit how hard did you tighten it to break it?

Default Hey Predator owners i Need help !!!

The bolt had a weird look to befor i put it in i think it was strecth or something so it was already weak but i figured that out after it broke hehehehe. What we have right now is the bolt broke pretty far back so dad come up with this cool idea of drilling out just the clutch cover area and threading because it doesnt take much to hold the oil filter cover on and so far its worked better than new its got an allen ( but it still needs to be fixed sooner or later ) it broke off with a little ratchet not big at all see now i havent taken the clutch cover off to see if it broke off flush or if its sticking out alittle if it is it could be a simple matter of the good old handy vice grips [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
