Adjusting chain on Polaris Trail Boss 250 '93..

I recently bought this quad, and now I noticed the chain touches the rear axle. How can I adjust it? Do I need any special tools?

mine does too... is there a chain slider, a piece of plastic between the chain and the swingarm?

Nope, the chain touches bare metal.
