Will the exhaust fit or would the frame get in the way. Or the mounts different. Just Say something if you know

 

98 will fit on a 2000.

 

I am not saying for a 1998 to work on a 2000 250 Trailblazer. I am saying will a 2000 250 trailblazer work on my 1998 250 Trailblazer.

 

yeah it will and it will fit on the 04 also.there all made the same besides the real older models don't know bout them.

 

thanks just wanted to know b/c i bought an exhaust tonight from this guy for cheap and wanted to know if it would work out, i get the full system, jet kit and he said something about clutching. What is the clutching about? Just say something back

 

Before you make a BIG mistake, what exhaust did you just get. The ONLY exhaust that is good for a 250 is HPD,AAEN,RCR or Hotseat. THATS IT!!! When you buy a pipe you must get a clutch kit to match the power band of the pipe. If you dont then with the stock clutch you will miss the powerband and miss the maximum power the pipe can produce. It needs to shift with the powerband. You can not just pipe and go. 2 stroke autos are kind of hard to understand but once you do understand it they are very fun to ride and mod. Let us know what pipe you have and we can help as much as possable. I would think that if you did not buy one of the four brands that I mentioned the only other thing that will fit is DG. DG is a BIG no,no. You will actually lose hp with a DG pipe and everyone can agree.

 

ya i am getting a hotseat exhaust, the kit for it, and he was going to talk to me about the clutch. I guess he knows what to do since his is port polish, intake, exhaust, bigger engine, clutch kit, carb etc. But he is going to talk to me about the clutch and what one to get but could i ride w/ the exhaust and jet kit till i get a clutch if i have to order one?

 

hey 2many i read on another post that you got the aaen stage5 kit and i wanted know what comes with this kit and whats your top speed now.

 

The kit is a pipe, jetting, and he might have some clutching stuff for me. Since he has upgraded he buys springs as he goes. He might have some he might not. If my machine is stock and has the pipe, what should I get for springs? Would I need to buy weights? Or A kit, I am kinda lost on this clutching stuff.

 

The kit consists of a top end pipe, race port,milled head,38mm tmx and clutch kit. This gives 42hp. It is more hp than hpd race mod. My top speed did not change much around 68-69 but it gets there much quicker.
