I have a 93' 250 4X4 Polaris. The starter is messed up so I am trying to remove it. I have it standing up w/ the skid plate removed, the pull start removed. I think I still have one bolt left on the clutch side that I can't get to. I have read several posts about removing it but none have said to remove the clutch, which is what I think I am going to have to do. Is this correct or is there some other way to get to the bolt on the top back of the starter? The bolt I can't get to is on a bracket that originally had four bolts in it.
