my brother and i both have it with the wB pipe. We run 55-57.5 pilot jet and 205-210 main jet with dynojet needle on 3rd clip down, breathes better than anything. my brother sold his air force kit after i had my hot seat set up dialed in and outrunning him. we run 3000-3500 ft elevation.

Agree that this is the best mod. I replicated it and it runs so much stronger than the drop in K and N it is amazing. Note: I did a homemade kit and am still working the bugs out..ie..wish I would've just bought the kit. Now that I have the filter, outerwear ect I don't want to spend another 200. I made an adapter but it allows to much movement so the intake tube keeps coming off. It only comes off after slamming through a woops section but since I MX I need to fix. I'll just have to secure the adapter plate better.

Well kinda...i think you use yoru stock neck that goes from the carb to the airbox, but you use the alum adaptor to attach the K&N filter. SO its not directly clamped onto the carb. Heres the picture..

HSP pred kit..filter & adaptor

now i have a clamp on k&n off the carb and it works good but thers allways room for improvment. if the kit is no more than a clamp on i will send it back. but i have heard good things about it. If it is a good set up im going to order a high compression piston from hpd. ithink that will be enough for the kind of riding i do.
