scrambler keeps dying
ive posted this before but havent been able to fix my problem.ive ran my 02 scrambler 400 for like 6 months with the lid off the airbox ,a fmf pipe and v-force reeds.its been running great, now the damn thing dies when it warms up.it sounds like im running out of fuel when she dies.ive been told the jetting is wrong, but why has it run great the last 6 months?could there be something else in the carb gone bad?

Your jetting is probably too rich. To be sure, flip the choke on next time it gets ready to die. If it gets better, you have a fuel delivery problem or are too lean, if it gets worse and dies right then, it is too rich. Normally, when it is jetted too rich, it will run fine until it warms up and then it will run like crap or die. Also, as the weather warms up, you have to go leaner with your jetting because the higher temperature makes the air less dense, therfore you run rich.
