Default 400 Scrambler barfing coolant

Well after riding for a few hours this afternoon at the hills I find that my coolant resevior bottle is completely full. Then after another 10-15 minutes worth of riding it is coming out of the little hole in the top of the cap on the resevior bottle. So is it a blown head gasket or head? Or could it be something else. Kinda freaked out when I saw all that coolant splashed all over my bike.

I had the exact same problem once. Luckily for me, I was just neglecting to clean the radiator after riding, and it was gummed up with mud, making the quad overheat. Spend a couple of minutes with the hose on the radiator even if you aren't hitting the mud hard.

Had the same thing here, clogged radiator. I have also seen a bad radiator cap cause it to overflow from the resivior.

my fan or heat light never came on either ,it would just fill up the reservoir and start puking it out the hole in the cap, it didn"t seem hot either in fact it happened when it was about 20 below zero last winter.

My fan came on once that I know of the whole day. It doesn't seem to be hot. And my temp light has never come on since I've had my quad 2 years now.
