Lots more hop up for the 2 stroke....it's going to be quicker than the 500, it's also going to be more maintenance

RookWV pretty much said it

If you want to race and mod it, go 400

If you want to ride it,,,,go 500

I like the no-nonsense 500 we have,,,,still fast as heck

Why do people keep saying the 2-stroke is more maintenance than the 4-stroke? You fill it with injector oil and change the plug and that's it. Oh, and keep an eye on the counter balance oil. You don't have messy oil and filter changes, no valves to adjust and it's about 40 pounds lighter. All other maintenance of the quad itself is the same for both. Obviously, I would recommend the 2-stroke!

Hi there,
I own a 2002 Scrambler 4x4. Love that machine. Good power (top speed approx. 67mph), good handling, and on top of this, very reliable. Based on my experience, go with the 500. You will not regret it.
