SP- I'm trying to understand this.....Polaris sent Gary the engines or people like you who wanted a kit put in them sent them to him?

 

Raptory, you are correct. He just grins when he finds out what people are posting on here. He thinks all the BS posted on this forum is funny.

 

Pro x, Polaris sends engines and customers do to. He completed the 500 cc and 580 cc engine R&D program, working on the 440 cc engine now.

 

Now Polaris is sporting the 440 kit for the Predator. Are they going to be selling the 580 kit also or is that a Superbike exclusive? Also, about the 440, is this Superbikes kit that Polaris is going to sell, or Polaris' kit that Superbike is working on?

 

The 580 kit is a Superbike exclusive kit. The 440 kit is a Polaris kit that gary is using to build a competitive
440 cc class engine. Everybodys kits are similar as far as parts go. Wiseco pistons, Cometic Gaskets. Everybody chose different cc pistons to use. (exclusive rights through Wiseco). The real difference is in the port work, and technology of 4 stroke engine building. The Predator engine can be made to make huge numbers, Some already know the secrets, some will figure it out, and other's never will.

 

Ok SP I get it. Rath is racing TC 590 kit in his national bike, the same bike Rath took to Polaris in Roseau for R&D. Rath is also running the TC 440 kit in his Pro Production class. Which he has been running ALL year Once again the same kit that Roseau and Fuji are developing. I am just so confused why the factory is spending all that time and money with Rath and TC if there real interest is Gary??? I am still waiting for your answer.

Yes Gary probably has a predator engine in his shop...DUH so does every Polaris dealer in the country.

I am not sure if it is all BS but he simply wouldn't have the time to respond here because he is clearly busting at the seems and time for him there can't be enough right now. I would have to say he must have some loyal employees who help him greatly because of the local economy is in great need of skilled individuals.
