high lifter kit

to sportsman005....yes putting in a front lift kit will change the angle of of your cv joints and this will stress them somewhat....maintanence is a key to keeping things from breaking down when you modify...i have 27in tri claws on the front of my 2000 sportsman500 and i dont think they would have fit without the lift kit b/c even with the lift kit they will sometimes rub... mostly with just sharp turning and when the front end of the machince dips down alot... i have about 600 miles on my sportsman mostly swamp and mud riding and have not had a problem but i also clean and grease my machine after every ride(the day after... don't let the machine sit with water it the cv joints)i know this is alot of work eack time you ride but this is the sacrifice you must make for having modifications and still have some dependability...hope this helps

Since polaris is sponsoring goodyear mudrunners, My advice would be to go check with your polaris dealer place and see what they say about there 27 inch mudrunners. That dont mean you have to buy them there, but they should know the answer. You could also just go to a polaris dealer and pic up there blue 2000 accessories catalog. I have one but not with me or i would try to look it up now. In it are tires and rims, and the good years tires
I am talking about. rangerchet - I had to buy larger rims for my mud bugs.......... MY dad actually has my old xpedition 425 cc stock 25 inch tires and rims on his old 1994 polaris 300 non named atv. He has more clearance now. Actually, he ows me my rims back as he only paid me for the tires. He has to put my xpedition stock tires on his stock rims. He has not done it yet. I am giving him the son/father delay time....

If you are looking for Good Years you should look at this place http://www.treadepot.com/
They seem to be the cheapest and they do have a 27" tire. I see that mngoat has those tri-claws if you look at the write up in product reviews they seem like they are one tough tire.
rangerchet I will tell Jamie S. about those cams.

Hi Sparke, Ok about the cams. I wanted him to see them on, memorial weekend but the polaris place let me down. They did get them on the following week. At the end of memorial weekend, Jeff was talking about setting up a atving get together up at silverbay. I know what trail he is talking about. I mean, I have seen it on a map. I have not been on it. I will try to go to that one when he wants to do it. Maybe you can make that trip to. rangerchet

Hey all you Minnesota Men:
What kind of deal can you get on the MudRunners down there?? Any prices you can dig up would be of real intrest to me, 26X12X10s
I'll be in the area in July and would fly some home if the price is right.
