does the rcr stage one kit make a big difference, on the low end+ top end? thinkin about gettin one,thanks guys.

 

yea it makes a difference.

 

The Stage 1 kit is definitely worth it. It was the first mod I made on my Scrammie and it made a HUGE difference. As you can see from my sig, I've done quite a bit more since then..

It's the best $325 you can spend for your 2 stroke Polaris in my opinion. I will however make one recommendation. When you call Rick to buy it, purchase a second muffler clamp. When you put the one he sends you on, it doesn't hold the muffler as solid as I would like. I kept just the one on for about 6 months. Nothing ever fell off with one clamp, it was just never very solid. When I did all my engine work, I ordered a second one and put it on. Now everything is rock solid.

Rick, if you read this, bump the price of the kit up by $5 and include the second muffler clamp!!

Lightman, you will be amazed at how it wakes the motor up. BTW, I did the midrange pipe.

I have an 03 Trailboss & was looking at his stage 1 kit for this quad,has anyone installed this kit on the boss & if so did it increase the performance.Thanks for any replies
