97 scrambler Grinding

Default 97 scrambler Grinding

It only does it when you give it a lot of gas. Other then that it is fine. Sounds as if the chain is jumping the sprocket. The chain and the sprocket are new and don't show any signs of abnormal wear. It kinda sounds like the gears in the gear box are slipping. There isn't really any metal shavings on the magnet for the fluid. The only mod that is done to it is a Hot seat clutch kit. Any help would be great.

If your drive chain and front sprocket are new (hoping rear sprocket is in good shape), it might be the drive chain inside of the trans. If you get a maint. manual, it's not a bad step by step, do it yourself fix.
