Default Factory Clutch Springs

I have a 99 scrambler 500 4x4. A buddy of mine bought a new 2002 scrambler 500 4x4 and put in a Hpd clutch kit in his machine. He gave me his factory clutch springs, helix, and exhaust. Is there any difference in clutch springs from a 2002 and a 1999. Would I gain anything if I put factory clutch springs and helix from a 2002 in my 1999? The clutch springs are a different color is why I ask.

What are the colors of the springs? The newer model might be a little more agressive. It certainly wouldnt hurt anything to try it.
