Default WHat about a BIGGER Scrambler!

Hey do you guys think they will ever put a bigger motor in a scrambler, like a 600 or 700 TWIN?. I was wondering about that, i think they also need to offer a 500 Scrambler but not in 4X4. And then have the different models to choose from.

I would almost bet that there will be one coming out in the next couple of years.

My feelings are that Polaris will come out with a bigger scrambler
of some kind. Even if it is a bigger engine, if Polaris doesn't change
the chassie, suspension and the weight problem there will be alot
of dissatisfied customers. I personally will probably go with another
brand on my next quad if Polaris doesn't do something with the
Scrambler line. They ( Polaris ) listened and made improvements to
the preditor but just look at the new 04 lineup. NEW for the 04
500 scrambler and trailblazer, different colored plastic. Boy thats
really a big difference in a model thats had very few changes over
WHAT the last 10 years. Come on Polaris wake-up!

who cares what it look like the banshee has looked the same since it came out but the blazer and scambler needs to get lighter! and the 250 tblazer has to become liquid cooled that two stroke engine works hard and overheats and goes slow that fan just doesn't cut it they need to make it liquid cooled so it can run up with the other 250's and the scambler should be alot lighter! simple as that

I would love to see Polaris put one of their 2stroke twins onto a Scrambler and then the weight would be no issue. But we may as well face reallity....the 2stroke will be history soon.As the Scrambler being to heavy if they cut the weight down it will either cheapen the end product or raise the price.I personally like the heavier machines but I dont jump much or race. A buddy of mine got a 500 Scrambler 2x4 and without the 4x4 it was too heavy for lots of things but it road smooth and handled great.

When they offered the Scrambler in the 500 2x4 version, I don't think it sold too well. It's more of a 4x4 chassis and there were just too many other better options when looking for a 2 wheel drive "sport" quad. I believe the Pred had something to do with the demise of the 2 wheel drive 500 also.

Yes, a redesign is WAY passed due. There is nothing special about the Scrambler as it is now. They have the potential to make a KILLER quad and so far aren't doing so. If they don't make anything of the sport 4x4 market withing the next few years, I will begin to wonder how far Polaris engineer's heads are up their...

that depend on what twin you're talking about, hope not those twin 4 stroke so i prefer my single cylinder 2 stroke tyrannosaur, the first scrambler ever built was a 2stroke ('95 scrambler 400 4x4),i hope they just keeped that in mind, but as many of us doing extensives mods on those quads a better built 2 wheel drive version is the most suited for a 2 stroke scrambler/sport return.

I wish for a sub 400lb. Scrambler, with frame geometry close to a 400ex or even the pred..I would love to see either motor used 400 or 500..That would be awesome!!!
