Default 628 Big bore for scrammy

I was thinking of a 628 big bore for my scrammy. Dose anyone have one on thier scrammy? I dont know where to find out more about them and how much thay cost. Also if i do go with the big bore what other mods should i do to get best performance from my quad?

Thanks

I know four stroke tech makes the kit and I hear its about 850 to 1100 dollars. It is a big bore and stroker crank. Ported head and cam is included and so is the labor I hear. I dont know if it includes a carb. I think Mickey Donlap of FST reads this column now and then. Mickey are you lurking out there? I would like to know more also. I bought a spare 500 motor so I could still ride and would like to build it between this winter or next winter. I also read here that one of the atv magazines had an article on it but I dont know which mag or what year or what issue.

mickey dunlap@ Four Stroke Tech at (814)842-6159. According to him, their 628 big bore stroker combination is $645 with you sending your crank in to be stroked. I don't think that they have carbs though. Aaen has 42mm carbs that would work good with it. A performance exhaust(which you already have) is recommended. I think that head porting is extra. Im not sure though. You best bet is call Mickey. The 628cc kit is a GNNC harescramble race proven kit. One magazine claimed aroung 60hp. I don't know how accurate that is though. I will tell you that when the time comes, I WILL be getting the 628 kit. UNLESS HPD ever makes a big bore kit for the 500.
