I am working on my brother in law's 92' 350L Trailboss 4x4. I put a new battery in and turned the key on, got lights showing neutral, an hit the starter button and nothing not even a click. I have the seat, racks and plastic off, does that make a difference? Is there anything I am missing? I don't know anything about polaris atv's and I don't have any manuals for this one either. Your help would be greatly appriciated.

Take the starter switch off and take it apart and clean it real good.If that doesnt help find the solenoid which is by the battery and try bypassing it with a pair of pliers or a screwdriver.

 

Sounds like the the starter silinoid.TRy jumping around it to be sure.

You were right, I took the start button apart, it had a bunch of junk in it from the atv setting so long. Once I got it clean it worked fine. Now if I just had everything else fixed!
