Default 34 mm carb on TB

can any one tell me if a 34 mm carb off of a scrambler or sport 400 work well on my TB 250? its an 2002 if that makes a difference.i am planning on getting the RCR stage one with the top end or midrange kit first or maybe the hpd trail pipe with a standard clutch kit. does any one know what modifications would be needed to make it work and how to do it? i am going to add a UFO if i get it. would i work better than the 35 mm tmx flatslide carb from hotseat? i am sorry about all the questions guys thanks for all of your help, Scott

I can personally tell you that the 34mm scrammy carb will work, even with the stock airbox but it will not be nearly as good as the tmx carb from Hotseat. A flatside carb is much more responsive than a roundslide. The 34mm scrammy carb will be hard to tune on the trailblazer because no one really knows the exact jetting. I do know that you have to jet down on the main but everything else will stay the same. Also the HPD trail pipe will be a much better choice for all around performance. This pipe will give you good performance in all the throttle positions. You will like tha gains of the pipe. Good luck!
