I have looked back into these forums and not seen anything on this.......has anyone seen, used or heard of anyone using the Rapid Reaction Roller Secondary Clutch made by Team Performance Solutions in their Sportsman 700 ??? I just picked up a 2004 Sportsman 700 and want to put a better performance clutch in it. I have seen enough on the standard primary clutch kits out there but would like to know more about this one before I make my decision. The guys at Hot Seat Performance sell the usual clutch kits you see out there as well as the clutch I mentioned above and when asked which one was better they said go with the Team Performance secondary clutch. This clutch is almost double the cost of a standard clutch kit but I don't mind spending the money if it produces. Any input would be great. Thanks.

 

I got my 600 last year and my dealer did some clutch mods to it that where unreal.. I am lifted with a warn 2500# and grill gaurd ( steel) 28" outlaw's and this thing will do wheelies all day long!! I am a BIG fan of hot seat and there products.. I am going to the dealer in the morning and will get you the weight and spring settings.. This is a high clutch engagement though and it does have some down sides.. But when you hoist a sportsman into a 10 or 11 o'clock wheelie and everyone stands there with this "Oh wow thats so wrong" look its worth it!!!

 

I checked their site team-ind.com/aftermarket, and they list for all models. If you plan on getting one, I would suggest getting through HPD. Darrell mods each of the units he sells for easy belt replacement and adjustment....a great thrown in benefit.
