Nope..the Awd light is not coming on.

So you say this plug is not on the pull cord side? Its on the belt side? I'll look there..

Before you go looking for that switch let me pull my head out of my butt. You are refering to the correct switch. I'm thinking of an older model. Sorry.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] Still somewhere in the switch I think your problem lies.

 

A few things to check now that I am at home and have my manual handy. Make sure there is a good ground. Try using the reverse override at the same time. See if anything changes.

 

ok..i think its that switch. I pulled that off and can take a screwdriver and manual move the contacts, and can get the bike in forward and reverse. I think there is a small metal pin that must have fell out..thanks everyone!

 

Does That make the AWd light come on? Do the fronts try to turn now?

 

Yup..the AWD light comes on and the bike will go forward and backwards. Mind you its hard to drive with somone holding that switch with a screwdriver..hehe..so it will have to be replaced. Kinda pissed cause it worked before we took it in to have the case fixed...

 

Who ever worked on the tranny messed up the switch. They either took it apart wrong or put it together wrong. You have to remove that switch to get inside the tranny. They should fix it for free.

 

Yeah..im thinking that too..gonna check with the dealer about it...
