Default does that radiotor fan do anything?

Hey is that Red Line in a concentrated form? I was just wondering if you mix it with water or you have to buy enough bottles to fill your cooling system. Thanks.

I'm surprised to hear the 400 2 stroke can run without a fan cos my 500 HO will not. Even in -20 deg temperatures and running at mid speeds of 20 to 40 mph my fan cuts in every few minutes or so.

I know a bunch of mods would probably work fine, but Polaris put that there for a reason, and why take it off when it runs fine stock? What are your reasons for removing your battery anyways?

I have only heard my fan come on once on my 400 4by. And its a 98. When i built my other bike I removed it all, battery, fan starter, even charge coils. But i did install a SW mechanical temp guage. Havent had it go over 140. (yet)

I hear that the fan weighs around 10-15 lbs. Anytime you can drop weight helps. By removing the starter, battery you remove another considerable amount. There are alot of guys on here that have done this without any problems. I do think that putting on a temp gauge to monitor the heat is good insurance though.
