Default predator 500cc

Im asking everyone that reads this post to please come forward and be honest if they have seen or heard of any motor or trans problems related to the predator.....................owners and friends of owners or someone that works in a polaris shop thank you for your help..................

why, are you having problems? just wondering, cause as of now, that's the next bike on my list

i havent had any problems and i aint easy on her!!
some people have had trouble with the traanny tho.

yes buckums I have a blown motor with 25 hrs on it and Im having issues with polaris and my dealer Im also hearing of other cases but no one wants to come forward or elaborate ................

I've only heard of a couple of a couple motors...the very first heads had some casting problems, but that seems to be taken care of. Also the 03s seem to have week shift forks. Too many people having problems with them. I havent yet... I've heard that Polaris is going to release a trans update kit for the 03 bikes, no idea on price, but i've been told it wont be a free upgrade. other then that..the bikes seem pretty good! im happy with mine!

I've had no problems at all with mine and when I was at my dealers open house I asked him if they have any complaints or warrenty work on any that they've sold and he said none..also the mechanic that works there raced his all last season(Rob Arnold) and had no major problems, he is going Pro on an '04 next season....thats the input I have...Later

Just found bad rings in mine but I am not sure what caused it yet???? Might have been me????? I don't believe that it has ever gone lean it has always been rich as far as I can tell. Other than that this quad is awesome and it is probably an isolated case.
