Default Fuel questions

Hey guy's... Does it make any differance what type of fuel I run in my 03 scrambler 500 as far as octane? Would it run better on a higher octane fuel? With the few mods it has I was wondering if this made any difference?

Unless you are running a higher compression piston, then all you need is regular. I run 89 (midgrade) without a problem. I like to have that little extra octane

The better grade of fuel you run should have more additives in it to possibly reduce the amount of carbon build up. I have almost allways run the premium fuels and I think that it keeps the engine a little cleaner???
