my buddie has a 2002 scrambler 500..he bought it almost 6 months ago and has gone through 3 belts,4 chains, swingarm bushings and ball joints,he usually hits the hidden stumps in the trails so i can understand the ball joints going..its at the dealer right now and they are going to replace the swingarm they say there is a 2 inch difference between the tires, even if the swingarm is bent that doesnt explain why he has gone through 3 belts?the new service guys at the dealer are a joke one guy asked us where the damn hour meter was lol we laughed at him and told him it didnt come with one then he says to us im going to start it up and shift it through the gears and that will tell me how hard its been ridden,he jumps on starts it up and then pulls out the choke, looks behind him and thinks hes going to back up lmfao, i almost fell on the ground laughing finally he shifted it into reverse and said well that seems pretty smooth, anyway maybe my buddies 500 is a lemon he doesnt ride anywhere near as hard as i do so i dont understand why his machine has been in the shop just about half the time he has owned it..

But all quads have probs its just how good you take care of them!!!

i dont care what you believe pal,but ill tell you how it happened,i was heading home from my buddies house one night and i did a power slide onto a trail at maybe 30 mph, well i didnt see the log laying in the tall grass alony the trail.i slammed the log as i was comming out of the slide and it snaped my axle clean off at the axle housing..whats so hard to believe about breaking my axle?
