so far for the predators I think there quality sucks, depending on what happens with my situation I might never buy a polaris product again might have to go with a honda product

 

What ever you do dont go with honda they really suck If polaris dont have what i am looking for my next company i look at is yamaha they are the best out of all the jap comps "I think"

 

honda is in the top choices for quality,im thinking about buying a honda 250r because my scrambler is holding up to the punishment i put it through..

 

I dont think Yamaha is any better. Remember the 01 raptors? Pretty much the same as our preds..crappy trannys. Not sure how a quad, after being put through so much R&D can have so much problem with it...doesnt make sense to me!

 

I know you would think they test the quads befour they start selling them... I guess their test riders are 6 year olds cause they dont stand up to the hard riding of their owners...

Yamaha fixed all the tranny probs for 02!!

yeah..they did fix the 02 raptors, but Polaris also updated the 04 Preds tranny. Also, i've heard that polaris is going to release a updated Clutch kit for the 03 bikes. I know its nothing super, but its more then the 01 raptor owners got!

 

so what are you saying bigbear,that if i hit a tree and broke my axle that would be unvbelievable what difference would a log or a tree make?the log was a tree at one time lol

 

beacuse if you hit a tree that is standing the only way to hit it would be the front beacuse you have the frame and motor in front of the axle. the only other way to hit it would be going in reverse.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]
