what's with the large price differences in predator parts

Default what's with the large price differences in predator parts

TEAM rear axle------ $360 hsp
TEAM rear axle------ $499 hpd
--------------------------------------
hubs for stock axle-- $180 hsp
hubs for stock axle-- $140 hpd
Rath rear hubs ------ $160 Rath
-------------------------------------------------------
JE high comp piston-- $165 Rath (11.5:1)
Wiseco HC piston----- $138.06 HPD (12.5:1)
HC piston------- $139 AAEN(12:1)
-------------------------------------------------------

I was looking for parts for my predator to try and ready it for mx next year and this is what I found early on.

different people have different prices.. i wouldnt buy anything from rath... way too expensive... id go hpd.

well raths rear hubs were abut mid range
and hpd's team rear axle was the most expensive by far ($139 more)

ya.. polaris has a set of hubs out that is cheaper than them all i think. like 120$

You might want to place a few calls and see what's up. I know HPD sells the Team secondary clutch, but it's actually shipped out with a few of their own custom mods. It always pays to shop. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

As pretty well everyone knows, shopping around can save a butt load of money, but it's also nice if you can get everything from one place; save on shipping, parts are more likely to work together better. Well, at least that's true on the 2-stroke automatics.

When I deal with any company, I have no problem asking them to price match their competitor. You will find that good companies want your business and the business you might bring by passing on the good word. Make sure you have a list of the compition's prices and where you found them so they can look it up for reference.
